    Excalis LLC is a Nashville-based design and innovation lab founded in 2024. We specialize in custom products, prototypes, statues, signage, and branded apparel, using cutting-edge tools like 3D printing, CAD modeling, and digital fabrication.

  • What does the name “Excalis” mean?

    Inspired by Excalibur, our name represents creativity, legacy, and purposeful design. Our motto, “Innovate. Create. Inspire.”, guides everything we build.

    We provide a custom design suite of services, including:

  • Do you design for brands and teams?

    Yes. We create branded merchandise, apparel, and product designs for companies, organizations, and teams, in addition to our own Excalis apparel drops.

  • Do you make LED signage?

    Yes. We have produced smart LED signage for businesses and events, blending creative design with functional branding solutions.

Customs & Design Fees

  • What qualifies as a custom project?

    Customs include one-of-a-kind designs like personalized statues, organizational signage, product prototypes, and branded pieces not in our standard product line.

  • Do all customs require a $250 design fee?

    No. The $250 design fee applies when we must model a design from scratch (e.g., a product prototype or unique statue). Smaller alterations—like resizing, nameplates, or color changes—usually don’t require the full fee.

  • What does the design fee include?

    It covers concept development, CAD modeling, renderings, and file preparation—ensuring your design is manufacturable and ready for production.

CUSTOMS

Fabrication & Materials

  • Are designs limited to 3D-printed plastic?

    No. While we specialize in PLA+ and PETG 3D printing, our designs can also be fabricated via laser cutting, CNC machining, casting, and large-format production through our partner network.

  • Can I choose materials?

    Yes. We offer a wide range of finishes—matte, silk, metallic, eco-friendly filaments—and can coordinate builds in wood, metal, acrylic, and composites

  • Do you handle fabrication beyond printing?

    Yes. We collaborate with trusted third-party partners to scale your design into materials and formats beyond in-house 3D printing.

Process & Policies

  • How does the commission process work?

    Our process includes: inquiry → consultation → deposit → design/mockups → production → delivery with secure packaging and tracking.

  • How long do projects take?

    Most commissions finish in 1–3 weeks, depending on complexity. Larger builds may take longer, but timelines are always shared upfront.

  • Do you offer bulk or wholesale orders?

    Yes. We provide bulk and wholesale pricing for statues, signage, and branded products for cultural orgs, businesses, and teams.
